Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier/Dock hand to join our team.
As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
As a Dock hand you will be responsible for getting rental boats ready and assist customers with filling their boats.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store or establishment - Scan items, provide pricing, and accept payments using cash registers - Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer inquiries and assist with locating items in the store - Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction - Manage transactions with integrity and honesty -Checking boats in and out -Ensure the saftey of guest on rental boats
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Basic math skills for calculating totals and providing change - Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge for operating cash registers and other equipment - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions - Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues promptly If you are a friendly individual with a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for the Cashier position.
