Position Overview:
Researches, designs and supervises the installation of electrical equipment, components and/or systems within the plant. Ensures the plant's electrical equipment operates at peak efficiencies while staying within the established budget. Supports process engineering team with data collection as well as process upgrades and improvements.
Support the plant operations group by aiding in equipment troubleshooting and investigating root cause analysis of repeat equipment failures
Update and maintain electrical documents available to all craft personnel
Continually improve the skill level of electrical tradesmen through on-the-job training
Communicate all changes affecting process/production as needed
Maintain and monitor the plant's PLC program library and network
Maintain plant software licenses and upgrades
Supervise outside contractors' efforts as needed to supplement the plant maintenance crafts; ensure that outside contractors perform to Knauf's safety standards
Support the process group in implementing process improvement projects and routines
Regularly confer with engineers and contractors regarding existing and potential future engineering projects or products
Perform monthly energy analysis utilizing existing monitoring systems and oversee the installation of such systems
Assist with weekend, holiday and call-in maintenance as needed
Track and manager work orders in SAP
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum two (2) years of Electrical Engineering experience in a similar industrial manufacturing facility
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Plant power distribution systems, programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley preferred), and electric motor controls
Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell Automation software preferred)
Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
Knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP preferred
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics
Ability to work proactively, identifying solutions and cost-savings opportunities
Ability and desire to work in a hands-on industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel 5-10% of the time as needed

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds
Must perform all essential functions on the plant floor continuously for at least eight (8) hours
Working Conditions:
Regularly exposed to varying temperatures in the plant
Moderate noise level in the plant
Exposure to wet and dusty environments

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
