Quality Technicians

The Quality Assurance Technician will test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compiles statistical data on tests.? This position determines and maintains quality and reliability of products by performing the checks per established guidelines.? If any defects are found, the Quality Assurance Technician will need to notify the Shift Supervisor.? Additionally, at the end of every shift, this position will need to notify the incoming technician or any issues or concerns.?

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7pm-7am; Thursday 7pm-1am; Friday, Saturday, Sunday Off.


1.???? Check the production schedule, walk the floor to become familiar with the products that are running, and consult with the outgoing technician for any items of concern.? ??

2.???? Collect samples from each injection molding machine, secondary process, and print line for the required attribute / dimensional / functional testing per the specified frequency.? Record the results on the appropriate forms.??

3.???? Notify the Shift Supervisor of any non-conformances that are found.? Monitor active concerns for prompt resolution and elevate issue up the Management chain if the non-conformance is not being addressed.?

4.???? Notify Quality Control Manager of any quality defects which are not corrected promptly.?

5.???? Identify non-conforming product with ?Hold? labels and update the hold log.?

6.???? Update X Bar R charts as required.?

7.???? Perform in-process attribute verifications and document checks.? Record the results on the Quality Monitor.?

8.???? Perform first shot verifications and document the results using the appropriate forms.?

9.???? Assist as necessary with LDR verifications.?

10.? Notify the Quality Control Manager immediately of any Quality Department equipment deficiencies.?

11.? At the end of the shift communicate any ongoing concerns / lingering issues to incoming technician.???

12.? All other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.?

1.???? High school diploma or General Education degree (GED); vocational school; demonstrated mechanical ability.?

2.???? Two or more years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.?

3.???? Required to stand for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.?

4.???? Good hand-eye coordination is essential.?

5.???? The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.?

6.???? Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds. Required to regularly push or pull a pallet jack with 1500 pounds load.?

7.???? Frequently exposed to fumes, or airborne particles.?

8.???? Will work near moving mechanical parts, and occasionally in outside weather conditions.?

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
